Congratulations to Prof. Yitzhak Lapidot from the School of Electrical Engineering for receiving a research grant from the Innovation Authority.

 Technological advancement is pushing the world forward, but it also opens the door to new complex issues and risks that we haven't had to deal with in the past. One of  them is voice scams – those performed through voice synthesis, voice conversion, and those carried out by physical access to voice recordings. Prof. Lapidot's research, to be conducted in collaboration with BGU, will last for two years, during which reliable systems for detecting voice scams based on synthesis and voice conversion will be developed."
